    Larry should do whatever he pleases with his wealth. If it grows, there will be that much more to add to whatever endowments survive him. And I guarantee there will be big ones. Have patience.

    No person needs $556M in any year, let alone in their life time. And that would be true if there not millions of starving and homeless people. Everyone is entitled to be rewarded for their creativity and efforts. The question is the extent of that reward. When the disparity between the have’s and the have not’s is magnitudes apart, the have’s should be called upon to reexamine their needs and priorities. From any moral perspective, it is just not OK that one has more than he or she could reasonably need in their lifetime while multitudes of others do not have enough to sustain themselves on the most fundamental level of subsistence on a daily basis.
